Ayat ul Kursi is 255 verse of Surah Al Baqarah of Holy Quran. Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said it is the most important Ayah in the Quran. Several narrations from the hadith of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) have described Ayat al-kursi as the greatest verse that was revealed to the Prophet (PBUH). In “Ayatul Kursi” there are 50 words and for each word there are 50 blessings and good in it.

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: Surah Baqarah is the leader of the Quran and "Ayatul Kursi" is the leader of Surah Baqarah.

One who recites Ayatul Kursi every morning will be in the protection, the safety of Allah until the night.

Allah Almighty told Hazrat Musa (A.S), “If one recites it after every Salah, the Almighty Allah will make his heart a thankful one, will give him a reward of the Prophets and his deeds will be like those of the truthful and nothing except death will stop will stop him from going into heaven.”

The Holy Prophet has said: When leaving home, if one recites Ayatul Kursi, then Allah will send 70,000 Angels to do Istighfaar for him until he returns home, and upon his return Poverty will be removed from him.

Anyone who recites ayat al-Kursi in the mornings and evenings will be protected from all forms of harm if Allah wills

When one is alone at home, recitation of Ayatul Kursi and asking Allah to help will make you remain calm and will your fear go away.

Translation of Ayat ul Kursi

Allah! is besides whom there is no God - the Everliving, the Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him Nor Sleep. His are all things In the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede In His presence except As he permitteth? He knoweth What (appeareth to His creatures As) Before or After or Behind them. Nor shall they compass Aught of His knowledge Except as He willeth. His throne doth extend Over the heavens And on earth, and He feeleth No fatigue in guarding And preserving them, For He is the Most High. The Supreme (in glory).
